IThe national Chairman of the Peoples Democratic party PDP and the candidate of the party in the last Presidential election who is also the former vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakr may soon dump the Party for the APC. The Peoples Democratic party PDP has been serious Challenges after the last Presidential Polls in the country.
It should be recalled that Atiku Abubakr contested against President Muhammadu Buhari in the last Presidential Polls where President Muhammadu Buhari won the Presidential Polls. Atiku Abubakr challenged the Victory of the President Muhammadu Buhari.
President Muhammadu Buhari was finally declared as the winner of the Polls. Ever since that time the the Peoples Democratic party PDP has been facing serious Challenges. Most of the Party faithfuls have dumped the party for the All Progressives Congress APC.
The likes of Ebonyi State Governor Davies Umahi and some Prominent Leaders of the Party. Recently, the former Governor of Ogun state, Otunba Gbenga Daniel also dumped the Party for the All Progressives Congress APC. Meanwhile, The APC leaders have all what it takes to embrace the new members who are ready to join the Party.
The former Deputy Governor of Osun state and the former chairman Senate committee on appropriation, Otunba Iyiola Omisore has also joined the All Progressives Congress APC. Earlier, Otunba Iyiola Omisore had formed the coalition with the All Progressives Congress APC in Osun State for Governor Oyetola to win the 2018 Governorship Polls.
Atiku, Secondus May Soon Dump The PDP For APC
Alhaji Atiku Abubakr who was the former vice President and the PDP Presidential candidate in the last Presidential Presidential Polls and the national Chairman of the Party, chief Uche Secondus May Soon leave the Party. There are so many indications that the duo might leave the Party.
Atiku's loyalists are leaving the Party almost every day, This shows that Atiku may leave the Party It should be recalled that Otunba Gbenga Daniel who happened to be the Director General of Atiku campaign organization just dumped the Party for the APC. This alone is a concrete evidence that Atiku may leave the Party any time from moment.
It should be also recalled that Prince Uche Secondus who is the national Chairman of the Party, is also facing some challenges in the Party. Some faction are of the opinion that Secondus should step aside ahead 2023 Presidential Polls. Some are of the opinion that Secondus should remain the chairman of the Party untill the election Period.
Secondus May leave the Party to avoid the embarrassment that he may encountered if he's been removed as chairman of the Party. Then the cordial relationship between the Ebonyi State Governor, Davies Umahi and Prince Uche Secondus is enough for Secondus to dump the Party.
There are enough reasons for both Atiku Abubakr and Prince Uche Secondus to leave PDP for the APC. The Political atmosphere is not clear for the Peoples Democratic party PDP as at now. Though, Being the national Chairman of the Party and the candidate of the party in the last Presidential Polls, it may be somehow to hear both Atiku Abubakr and Uche Secondus dumped the Party.
