Arise TV co-host Oseni Rufai has publicly addressed his online trolls in Nigeria. Even those looking for sextapes to use against him politically, he claimed, are not his adversaries. The newsreader insists he is immune to all forms of animosity.

Using his verified Twitter account, he informed the public.
On his verified Twitter, he congratulated the folks who constantly attack me online. Even people who are only interested in political sex tapes have my undying affection. I care deeply about each and every one of you. If you knew me, you wouldn't think it was possible for me to feel hatred.
He went on to say that he had witnessed political opponents criticise him on Twitter, and that by giving them more power, he had actually aided them. He dismissed the criticism, stating, "I've seen people abuse me on Twitter in the name of politics and I empowered them years ago." I keep helping them out whenever they want me to. Our mission here on Earth is to love.
