Ahead of the October 10 governorship election in Ondo state the, important political personalities have been arriving the state. Few hours ago, the PDP VP Candidate in the last presidential election, HE Peter Obi, Governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde, Senator Abiodun Olujimi arrived the capital city in readiness for the forthcoming governorship election and to mobilise support for the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party candidate, Barrister Eyitayo Jegede. Prior to their arrival, former governor of Kano state, Sen Rabiu Musa Kwankwanso has equally made his entry into the state.
On their arrival, Sen. Abiodun Olujimi and other PDP stakeholders, met with the Igbo community in Ondo State to discuss their agenda and why they should vote for the candidate of the PDP come October 10.
With the look of things, all is now getting set for the Peoples Democratic Party. The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party will be slugging it out with the candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, Agboola Ajayi of Zenith Labour Party and many more.
Recall that PDP won in Edo state some weeks ago. They will now be hoping to do same in Ondo state come October 10.
