"Don't Threaten Us,We Would Pay To God" - Reactions To Pastor David Oyedepo's Message On Tithes

"Don't Threaten Us,We Would Pay To God" - People Reacts To Pastor David Oyedepo's Message On Tithes.

Nigerian pastors love capitalising on our dysfunctional govt. Yet, there are countries with majority non-Christian population without any financial curse. They simply have functional govts that ensure employment, healthcare, social safety nets, pension ans home ownership plans. Bishop Oyedepo is currently setting Twitter on fire and garnering mixed reactions over his post on tithe and offering .

The popular clergy took to his verified twitter account @davidoyedepomin to issue stern warning to christains to pay their tithe in order to avoid financial curse. The post didn't go down well with most of his followers as they shared their different opinion concerning Tithes and offering. While few felt tithe us obligatory but not compulsory , others felt the popular clergy took to his page to threaten christains over the payment of Tithes

Here's a screenshot of Bishop Oyedepo's tweet via his verified Twitter account below .

Tithing is an inescapable covenant obligation. Prosperity not just wealth is impossible without tithing, because when you're not paying your tithe, you're under a financial curse.

From the books of Deuteronomy Chapter 14:22 : "You shall tithe all the yield of your seed that comes from the field year by year." They tithed only what they grew on the land God gave them; livestock, fruits, wine, oils, grains, and spices. Field workers never tithed.
