7 Things About The Holy Spirit That Most Christians Don't Know About.

There are some things about the Holy Spirit which most Christians don't know about, and knowing these things will help them to cooperate with him and walk with God so that he can guide them and help them do things that will make God pleased with them, and they can as well enjoy all the blessings that he has to offer them because he has been sent with a mandate to guide them into all truth (John 16:13). While the Holy Spirit is important in the lives of God's children, it is also necessary for them to know some things about him so that they will not take him for granted, but agree with him and follow his leadings so that others to please God, and this is what I want to share with you, and I want you to read the entire article as I discuss the seven things about the Holy Spirit which most Christians don't know about.

Here are seven things about the Holy Spirit that most Christians don't know about.

1. He is a seal on God's children. A seal means something that confirms, ratifies, or makes secure, it is what gives a guarantee or assurance that a product or things are genuine and good. According to Ephesians 4:30, the children of God are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise. This means he is a seal on the children of God till the day they of redemption. This is why they must not grieve him by doing things that God does not approve of so they won't lose their seal of identification, because only those who have the Spirit of Christ (Holy Spirit) are his own (Romans 8:9).

2. He has a mind of his own. According to Romans 8:27, God knows what is the mind of the Spirit. This means he has a mind and can think, and since he is also God (Acts 5:4), Jeremiah 29:11 reveals that God's thoughts towards us are good and not evil to give us an expected end. This means that the Holy Spirit thinks about us and his thoughts being good is to give us an expected end. This is why children of God should submit to God (the Holy Spirit) and mind the things of the Spirit so that they can do what he thinks and reveal to them, and also please God.

3. He is the one that quickens. According to John 6:63 and Romans 8:10, The Spirit of God quickens and gives life, and since the word of God is truth and life, it means the Holy Spirit quickens by the word and gives life by it, and Romans 8:11 reveals that God will quicken our mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwell in us.

4. He makes intercession for God's children. Romans 8:27 reveals that he (the Holy Spirit) makes intercession for the children of God whenever they don't know how to pray as they should, and he helped them to pray according to the will of God.

5. He searches the deep things of God. According to 1Corinthians 2:10, the Holy Spirit searches the deep things of God, and this means he discerns and knows the secret things of God, and by God's will, he reveals the things of God to us.

6. He gives the power to God's children. Since he (the Holy Spirit) is also God, Isaiah 40:29 reveals that God gives power to the faint, and in Acts 1:8, one receives power when the Holy Spirit comes upon such a person. This means that the Spirit of God is the one who gives power to the children of God.

7. He teaches the law of God to set God's children free. 1John 2:27 tells us that the anointing (Holy Spirit) teaches us all things, and Romans 8:2 reveals that the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus makes one free from the law of sin and death. This means the Holy Spirit teaches the law of God to set God's children free.
