The Vice President of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo, disclosed a statement in the ongoing 25th Annual Convention of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Themed - New Beginning. He said that God is set to give Nigeria a new beginning.
Osinbajo said that it is in the nature of God to do new things for his people and Nigeria will benefit from the new beginning, regardless of what has been happening.
Laolu Akande, The Senior Special Assistant to the Vice President on Media and Publicity, said the exact words of Osinbajo in a statement that was titled ‘Nigeria Will Get A New Beginning' - says Osinbajo.
Yemi Osinbajo is a pastor in The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), He quoted biblical story of Nathaniel who doubted whether any good thing could come out of Nazareth. Despite the doubt many people are having If Nigeria will be good, God will create a new beginning.
Osinbajo said “Today, many men are saying the same about our nation Nigeria, even men of God, but he is set to give Nigeria a new beginning.”
In the midst of current travails, the God of new beginnings is about to change our story. He is about to do something new. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
The Vice President added that the ideal person ready for a new beginning is one who requires the strength of God to show forth in their weakness.
Osinbajo added, "God did not create humans to succeed without him, we can't be independent of him, we have to acknowledge his presence in all things".
