Apostle Johnson Suleman of the Auchi based Omega Fire Ministries International, in the video of a message shared on his official Facebook page, has reiterated the inevitability of travails, persecutions and trials in a believer's life. The cleric has revealed how they are the stepping stone to a believer's success and achievements in life.
The cleric has also buttressed the message by sharing the story of the renowned Evangelist, John Wesley, from 01:07:59 to 01:09:16 of the video. As shared by the cleric, John Wesley was a heavily anointed man of God. He was the renowned founder and leader of the Methodist Church. According to the cleric, John Wesley, despite his fame and great strides in the ministry, he had a very turbulent marriage.
As shared by the cleric, in one of the serious problems the great man of God faced in his marriage, the cleric has shared that, Wesley was ministering to the congregation one day, and his wife suddenly rose amid the congregation, she brought out some letters and said to the people loudly that, these are the love letters, written by some mistresses to John Wesley. According to the cleric, John Wesley could not say anything, but rather, looked on in the church as she smears his ministry in the mud. He was quiet, seeing a woman practically destroying his ministry.
Also, the cleric has shared in his words that, whenever John Wesley was fighting with his wife, the wife would pull on his long hair, whilst he cried in pain. But, one day, John Wesley said, he succeeded in the ministry, despite his wife. The cleric in his words of encouragement has also shared the example of the problem apostle Paul went through during his ministry in that, he prayed to God to take away the problem but God told him that, His grace is sufficient for him.
In your life as a believer, there are situations you will go through that might not be pleasing nor favourable for your ministry—just hold on fast and unwavering to the Lord, His favour and grace are ever sufficient for you.
