5 Promises To Hold On To Whenever You Are Extremely Broke

There are periods when you are extremely broke and you are in serious need of money. You run helter-skelter and it looks as if there is no help for you from man. But you forget God and you fail to remember that's whatever you ask him, He is ready to do it for you. However, whenever you are extremely broke, you should run to God first and claim these promises:

1. Matthew 6:34

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

There is a tendency that you will start thinking of tomorrow when you are extremely broke, but this verse is asking you not to do so. God has control of everything and all you need to do is to put your absolute trust in Him. He will definitely not fail you.

2. Matthew 6:26

“Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?”

Jesus Christ is telling you here that He is able to provide for all your needs if you can believe in Him. Just as He provides for the birds of the air who do not sow nor harvest, he is ready to perform wonders in your life. You are of a greater value than the birds so He will definitely treat you better than them.

3. Philippians 4:19

"And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus."

Our God is very rich and He will always supply your needs according to His riches. When you know that He is a very rich God, all you need to do is to ask Him and believe that He will do it.

4. Matthew 7:7

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”

Have you spent time praying about it? This is the only way that He will know that you really need money. Even if is omniscient, but He wants you to ask Him in faith. All your needs shall be granted in the name of Jesus.

5. Mark 10:27

“Jesus looked at them and said, “With man, this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.”

This is the conclusion of the matter because there is nothing impossible for God to do. When you have this in mind, it improves your faith in God and makes you realize that he is the only one you should run to.
