The founder and Senior Pastor at the Holy Ghost Ambassador Ministry International, 8 Ekpanya Street, Uyo, Akwa Ibom state, Apostle Nyeneime Andy says he has received from God the name of Governor Udom Emmanuel’s successor.
“I will be announcing the Word of the Lord to Akwa Ibom people soon,” he promised in a Facebook post on Friday 15 October. “’Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets.’ Amos 3:7.”

Interestingly, Governor Emmanuel, while recently throwing more light on whom he would hand off the baton of leadership come 2023, had said God was yet to reveal his successor.
“When it comes to power, it does not belong to Udom Emmanuel. Don’t ask me to give what I don’t have. The owner of power knows who He is going to give the power to. But He will use man to actualise that. I can only offer myself as a willing vessel,” the governor, 55, said.
Meanwhile, Apostle Andy – whose church was in August marked for demolition for allegedly not meeting planning standards for approval – in a recent post still on Facebook had called on Akwa Ibom people to support the succession plan of the governor.
“I call on the entire youth structures and the Sons of Faith to Support the Completion Agenda of His Excellency Deacon Udom Emmanuel,” he said.
The governor in a bid to actualise his succession plan had set up a political movement codenamed Maintain Peace Movement (MPM) – led by Director-General and National legal adviser of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Barr Emmanuel Enoidem.
Continuing on the need to rally around the governor’s plan, Apostle Andy said: “This is our state and we don’t have another. Three things to do:(1) Pray for the Governor and those in government for wisdom to lead the state to an enviable position. (2) Contribute your wisdom, Potentials and Gifts to the advancement of our state. (3) As much as it is in your power, maintain peace. God bless you.”
