Nigerians who Converted to Islam and Convert Churches to Mosque

Religious conversion is the adoption of a set of beliefs identified with one particular religious denomination to the exclusion of others. Thus "religious conversion" would describe the abandoning of one denomination and affiliating with another. People convert to a different religion for various reasons, including active conversion, conversion by free choice due to a change in beliefs, conversion for convenience, marital conversion, and forced conversion.

A quiet dozens of folks have left the Christian faith all over the world. In Nigeria, there are several reasons as a pointer to leaving the Christendom which ranges from bad church experiences to others etc. But for a pastor or cleric to left their faith is amazing.

Let take a look at some christian cleric that left that faith to Islam.

Founder and leader of Apata Adu­ra Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Ekute, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, the former Pastor Adekunle Afolabi attributed his conversion to Islam to a divine message he received from a strange man in white in his dreams.

After practicing Christianity for over 25 years, the 45-year-old man, now known as Alfa Abubakar Afolabi, is convinced that Islam is “the only religion that leads to heaven.”

The church, which used to be a Christian place of worship, has started to receive many Muslims looking for a good place to perform daily prayers.

Pastors converting to Islam in Ogun state, this was reported on June 6th ,2019 as two pastors converting to the Islam faith during a Ramadan lecture in Ogun state. In a bid to find spiritual fulfillment, many people embark on their spiritual journey in various ways and under various faiths. However, it isn't everyday one comes across stories of religious leaders converting to another religion.
