Religious conversion is the adoption of a set of beliefs identified with one particular religious denomination to the exclusion of others. Thus "religious conversion" would describe the abandoning of one denomination and affiliating with another. People convert to a different religion for various reasons, including active conversion, conversion by free choice due to a change in beliefs, conversion for convenience, marital conversion, and forced conversion.
A quiet dozens of folks have left the Christian faith all over the world. In Nigeria, there are several reasons as a pointer to leaving the Christendom which ranges from bad church experiences to others etc. But for a pastor or cleric to left their faith is amazing.

Founder and leader of Apata Adura Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Ekute, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, the former Pastor Adekunle Afolabi attributed his conversion to Islam to a divine message he received from a strange man in white in his dreams.
