The Bible is a highly revered book because it's predictions are believed to be certain. Moreover Jesus Christ is the most revered person in Christianity. While on Earth he said something about the second Temple in Jerusalem and the future that awaits it.

The first Temple was destroyed by the armies of Babylon in the year 570 bc according to historians. The second Temple refers to the rehabilitated Temple which was standing in the days of Jesus Christ. But Christ predicted what would happen to that Temple.
Check out this (Luke 21:5-6) "And some spoke of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said" As for these things which you see, the days will come in which there shall not be left one stone upon another that shall not be thrown down"
According to historians,. this prophesy was fulfilled in AD 70, during the invasion of Judah by Roman army. the second Temple was destroyed .
Conclusion. God's words must certainly come to pass.
