Nemesis coming, only God can save you’ – Primate Ayodele warned Tinubu

The Leader Of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, on Wednesday warned Bola Ahmed Tinubu, concerning the future.

In a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele revealed that he foresees nemesis coming after Tinubu due to some things he did in the past.

Ayodele said the politician had planted some unpalatable seeds that are now ripe for harvest.

He explained that Tinubu hijacked power from some leaders in the course of his political career and the same thing is about to happen to him, except God decides to show him mercy.

6,000 worshippers converge to pray for Nigeria, Tinubu

No fewer than 6,000 worshippers are at Galilee of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide to offer prayers for the President-Elect.

The worshippers are also praying for the hitch-free inauguration of the president-elect come May 29th.

They added that the prayers of all led to the success of the 2023 general elections.

Speaking with reporters at the international headquarters of the church along the Ilorin-Ogbomoso expressway, Supervising Prophet, International Council of Prophets of the church, Dr Zacheus Emmanuel said that the annual fiesta is principally to pray for Nigeria, families, the church and the world at large.


I’m the best candidate for Senate President, Osita Izunaso insists

In spite of the consensus meeting which settled for Godswill Akpabio as the consensus ‘candidate’ of the the All Progressives Congress as Senate President, a former chairman of the Senate Committee on Gas and Housing, Senator Osita Izunaso, on Wednesday, insisted that he still very much aspires to lead the Senate of the 10th National Assembly in the best interest of the nation.

A statement from his media office signed by Kehinde Olaosebikan, quoted Izunaso as saying he is the highest ranking Senator from the South-south and South-east with a robust and outstanding legislative and National Assembly experience.

Spanning from 1992 when he served as the Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker of House of Representatives to 1999 when he was appointed as the Chief Press Secretary to the President of the Senate.

He therefore called on the leaders of the APC to douse the tension generated by the controversial zoning formula already heating the political atmosphere of the country by coming up with a zoning arrangement that would guarantee unity and national cohesion.


FG earmarks over N22bn to feed inmates

The Federal Government has said the sum of N22.44 billion was earmarked to feed inmates in all the custodial centres across the country.

Speaking at a two-day conference on ‘Decongestion and Corrections Administration’ in Abuja on Thursday, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior, Shuaib Belgore, said the amount was due to the congestion of the custodial centres.

He called for the reform of the service and custodial centre for the smooth rehabilitation of inmates.

He said that the Federal Government budgeted N22.44 billion in the 2023 appropriation to cater for the feeding of inmates.
