Things you did not know about Apostle Joseph Babalola

Born by devout Christians of the Anglican Church, Odo-Owa in Kwara state, Babalola was able to read and write in Yoruba and English Languages. Prior to his call, he was a roller driver and a mechanic by profession.

Though there was no microphone for him to use as a missionary, yet whenever he preached, people within a radius of 4 kilometers would hear him distinctly. The Lord endowed him with the spiritual power of sustained prayer and fasting. His prayers were always long, touching, and powerful. Occasionally either there was a knotty problem to solve or the need to recuperate or to commune with God, he would withdraw to the Hill or Mount for a while as Jesus Christ did several times his ministry. It was his practice to fast along with prayers on such occasions.

He found great joy in studying the law of the lord day and night. Each Time he taught the people, he spoke with authority and spiritual power on the words of God. This wonder-working Apostle was endowed with great spiritual power following his divine call. He possessed so great spiritual power that he healed the sick either present at his Revival meetings or in their homes. He was noted for the healing of sickness, barrenness, blindness, epilepsy and so much more. God manifested his moving power in him throughout his ministry.
