Bishop Oyedepo speaks on 'Once you are saved, you are forever saved.'

Bishop David Oyedepo has advised his congregation not to be deceived by false prophets in the society. He also admonished them to stay strong in their Christian faith and be careful not to lose their salvation and grace of God.

The founder and senior of the Living Faith Church popularly known as the Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo gave the advice when he preached during the First Service at Faith Tabernacle Church headquarters today, Sunday, September 12, 2021.

Speaking on the special service with the theme, 'Covenant Family Day', Bishop Oyedepo warned his congregation to be careful of people they listen to because false prophets are now on the street to deceive people.

According to Church Gist, Bishop David Oyedepo told his congregation that biblical Judas Iscariot lost his place as a disciple Christ and never regain it.

The senior Bishop at Faith Tabernacle Church, Bishop Oyedepo during his preaching said;

"He (Judas) lost his place, don’t let anybody ever tell you “Once you are saved, you are forever saved: No."

He also told them to hold that fast which thou hast lest another man take thy crown.

Quoting the scripture from 1 Corinthians 10:12, the Cleric warned his congregation to take heed, lest the fall.

"Therefore, let him that thinks he stands take heed, lest he falls."

Bishop Oyedepo who recently cleared that he will not fight media houses in Nigeria for fighting him added that "as a believer, many challenges will come to try your faith" but according to him, stay strong like Daniel who propose never to devil himself.
