3 Things You Didn't Know About Angels - David Oyedepo

The founder of Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo in a recent message to his congregation spoke on three things people do not know about angels.

1. They are God's defence agents. They are on a mission to defend the children of God in the journey of life. They shield and protect the children of God against satanic assaults in the race of life. Exodus chapter 23 verses 20 to 23 "Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared. Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him. But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries. For mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off."

2. They are agents of deliverance. When you are costed and hedged in, they step in to bring you out. Acts chapter 12 verse 7 "And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands."

3. They impact with skill and surpassing intelligence. Daniel chapter 9 verse 21 to 22 "Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation. And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding.". They impact supernatural understanding. They are therefore agents of spiritual impartation.
