The General Overseer of the Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Pastor Dr. Paul Enenche while speaking during Power Communion Service (March 15, 2023), alleged that he received text messages that armed herdsmen are planing to launch an attack in Nigeria. He said this via a live-streamed video on his verified Facebook handle.
The well respected Nigerian pastor revealed this while clarifying his reason for speaking boldly on national issues. From the video, he (Pastor Dr. Paul Enenche) identified a pastor in his church that he sent to confirm the text messages he claimed to have received.
According to Pastor Dr. Paul Enenche from the video (1:35:42): "Some of you don't really understand why we talk the way we talk, and preach the way we preach. When you are literally at the receiving end of a generation's burden, you will understand. Today, I can't remember the number of text messages of herdsmen in our territory that I received. They are moving freely and fully armed. Today and today, they are ready to attack fully. I sent some of the messages to you (name withheld) and he will confirm to me.
"When somebody sends you a text message that reads, today is my brother's wedding day and he is in the kidnappers' camp, what will you do at that point? Nobody may send such messages to any Governor". He also urged security agencies to stay very active. He concluded, praying, "God please change the system. The system that has brought us to this level, God change it for us in Jesus name".
