Featuring on Arise Television’s Morning Show on Monday. Asked if he would accept Tinubu’s victory as the wish of God as some religious leaders claimed, Obi said: “What they are preaching is the problem of Nigeria. The problem in Nigeria is accepting wrongdoing and what is unacceptable.
“That is using God’s name in vain. That is not what God is saying. God said do not use my name in vain. “So, what they are saying is not God’s wish, it is not God’s plan for Nigeria. “Pastors are preaching the problem of Nigeria; it’s not God’s wish for Nigeria. Is it God’s wish that we don’t have electricity, a mortality rate? “We have clear laws about the conduct of the election, it’s not God’s wish that we do the wrong thing. We want God’s wish to be truly God’s wish.

Adeboye, who spoke during a live sermon on Sunday, said God had, at the beginning of the year, revealed that some balloons would burst in 2023. The popular clergy lamented that some people in positions of authority make life miserable for the common Nigerians. He said, “At the beginning of this year, the Almighty God said that some balloons will burst. I am looking forward to seeing those balloons burst because some people are making life miserable for the common man. They have the power to do so, in a position to wreak havoc on people.
They use the power to make the common man miserable. Some balloons need to burst. By the time God finished with Nebuchadnezzar, he knew who was the Highest God”. The man of God further declared that some unscrupulous citizens attempting to stop the spread of the Gospel would be eaten by worms. “I can say with confidence, for anyone who tries to stand in the way of the spreading of the gospel of Jesus Christ, worms will eat them up!
