Reno Omokri reveals how he's been disturbed and asked by many of his followers, to give his opinion concerning the ongoing debate on different social media, about Bishop David Oyedepo statement on Tithing.
He claims it's very difficult for anyone to convey his or her full meaning in a tweet, especially in a tweet of 280 characters. And that's why he will never judge but still maintain his respect he has for Bishop Oyedepo.
To Reno, a tweet is not enough for him to overlook the immense and intense good, God has used Bishop Oyedepo to do. This is actually not the kind of response his followers expected..
Instead of Reno Omokri joining the league of critics bashing Bishop Oyedepo. He rather shock everyone by saying a word of prayer for the Bishop. In Reno's word to Bishop critic, "May God bless Bishop Oyedepo and keep using him to do good." (According to the screenshot above).
Bishop David Oyedepo made an audacious statement on tithe yesterday, through his ministry verified social media handle. The clergy man insisted that, tithe is an obligation for Christians, and anyone who is not paying tithe is under financial curse.
Bishop Oyedepo has indeed stirred a debate on social media. His statement didn't go without backlash, criticism or names calling.
Unlike Reno Omokri, Daddy Freeze disagree with Bishop Oyedepo's tweet on tithe. See his response in the screenshot below:
