Pastor Abel Damina, the senior pastor and founder of Abel Damina Ministries and Power City International, who is known for his controversial ways of providing answers to some doctrinal and religious questions said that Jesus is not the Tribe of the Lion of Judah and Christians should stop calling him that.
As we all know, one of the common names that people use in attributing and explaining the power of Jesus is by calling him "The Lion Of The Tribe Of Judah" but Pastor Abel asserted that, it is wrong. He revealed all of these things in a 16 minutes video that was shared on Youtube.
Meanwhile, the tribe of Judah in Isreal is believed to have come out from the descendants of Judah, the fourth son of Jacob also known as Isreal. But, Christians in today's world uses the name of Lion and Judah to portray the courage, power and authority that comes with Christ.
However, Pastor Abel Damina made mention that using the clause "The Lion Of The Tribe Of Judah" to portray Christ is very wrong because Lion is a negative term according to 2 Timothy 4:17, Hebrews 11:33 & 1 Peter 5:8 in the Bible. Further speaking, the Man of God made mention that calling Jesus the Lamp for God is wrong but calling him the Lamp of God is very right.
In the end, Pastor Abel Damina concluded by saying that those who called Jesus the Lamb of God in the past were right but they ignorantly called him the Lion of The Tribe Of Judah.
