He said, "Only as we understand holiness can we worship the Lord. We enter into his gates with Thanksgiving. Why? Because of his goodness. We enter into his courts with praise.Why? Because of his greatness. But then we come to worship. Why? Because of his holiness. And I said Holiness has no parallel on earth. You and I can understand goodness because we see good things and good people."
"We understand greatness because we see creation and great things but we don't understand holiness because we have nothing to compare it to. For Holiness demands revelation. I do not need a revelation to say thank you Lord because I see he is good. I do not need a revelation to praise him because of his greatness but it is impossible to worship him without revelation."
