"No Patience For Failure Here" -Oyedepo Finally Reveals Reason Behind Sack Of 40 Pastors

The founder and the presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church International aka Winners Chapel, has finally reacted to the claim that he sacked some pastors in the church because they were not generating enough income from their respective branches.

Recall that a Pastor at one of the branches of the church, Peter Godwin, alleged that he and 40 other pastors in Ekiti State were sacked by the church for not generating enough income.

In a trending letter on social media dated June 25, 2021 by Adebisi Aboluwade, the Secretary of the church, the pastors were asked to vacate their official accommodation and hand over their identity cards to their respective area pastors.

This event has since continued to generate diverse reactions from Nigerians, especially those on are on social media.

However, in his reaction, Bishop Oyedepo said the pastors were not sacked because they failed to generate income for the church, but because they were unfruitful in regards to their primary assignment, which is to win more souls to the kingdom.

According to Dailypost, the renowned Pastor also decried the attitude of many social media users who seized the opportunity to lash out on his church without having an understanding of his church modus operandi.

His statement reads in part:

”People are confused about our Ministry. I learnt some fellows said, “you know, they are not bringing income, that is why they asked them to go.”

"When we employed 7000 pastors at once social media was dead."

"We asked you to go because you are unfruitful. Unfruitful! Blatant failure. Doing what there? We have no patience with failure here."

Consequently, many people have continued to express their views about the issue.

Meanwhile, this clear explanation from the revered pastor, is expected to clear the erroneous perception of many Nigerians about the popular Christian leader in regards to the sacking of the said pastors.

Similarly, in your view, do you agree that since the said pastors allegedly failed in the primary role they were employed for, their services is truly no longer needed?
