Ahead of the 2023 presidential election, which is less than twenty-four hours to this time, the Kaduna born human rights activist and former lawmaker who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Senator Shehu Sani has advised Muslim clerics across the country on what they should preach to their congregations.

The former lawmaker took to his official Twitter handle to make this known.

Senator Sani greeted all the Muslim faithfuls and appealed to Imams leading this Friday prayer to preach peace and orderliness ahead of Saturday presidential election in Nigeria.

"Juma'at Mubarak to allmy Muslim Brothers and Sisters.

"I appeal to all Imams leading the Friday prayers today, to preach peace and orderliness in their final sermon before tomorrow's election." Senator Shehu Sani said.

Recall, this Friday, is an election eve, and by tomorrow's (Saturday) morning, the presidential election will take off across the 36 States of the country and the Federal Capital Territory FCT, Abuja.

According to Sani, indeed, we really need peace and orderliness as we go to poll on Saturday to elect our new leaders in Nigeria.
