When Bible Says Our Body Is The Temple Of God, This Is What It Means

Our body contains the soul and spirit. As believers in Christ, we carry the presence of God everywhere we go, therefore such a carrier must be holy and pure to be able to contain God.

The dwelling place of God, which is our body must always be prepared, tidy up, free from all uncleanliness and immoralities.

  Be ye Holy

Holiness is the nature of God, we as believers and children of the father must resemble our father in holiness. Be ye Holy for I am holy, both in our thinking and meditation, we must present ourselves holy and pure.

Our body is the temple of God

We are to present our body as holy, free from immoralities. There's a sense in which immorality sins are different from all other sins, we violate the sacredness of our own bodies and these bodies were made for God-given and God modelled love.

Our body is a sacred place, the place of the Holy Spirit. We can't live anyhow we please, squandering what God paid such a high price for. God owns everything in us and we must let people see God in and through our body.

God always wants us to dwell in us; we must make ourselves available for Him alone.
