The general overseer of the Winner Chapel pastor David Oyedepo has put more emphasis on the issue of tithes and offerings in the church of God and among Christians today. As we all know that tithes and offering are required from all Christians because it is in the Bible that you must give 10% of your income to the work of God.
Pastor David Oyedepo said this through online media some couple of minutes ago in one of his messages. He said "You are under a financial curse if you do not pay your tithes", this is mandatory for all Christians to pay his or her tithes according to how God has blessed them, but instead some Christians refuse to pay tithes. It is what you sow to the work of God that you will reap.
However, the issue of tithes has been the main focus of so many pastors today and in some of their preaching they have made it know that the tithes are not going to their pockets or bank accounts but it is been used for the propagation of the work of God. So many believe that the pastors are using the money to enrich themselves which is not so.
Moreover, after pastor Adeboye said this, a lot of people have been reacting on social media.
Is it true that those who refuse to pay tithes are under a financial curse?
