While speaking about the 2023 presidential election in a recent video posted on social media, the founder and General Overseer of Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, said any candidate that will toy with the church will not be President of Nigeria.
He added that even if the people decide to vote for such a candidate, he will not sit in that office. He said the person that will be the President must have fear for the church and that they will not give room for any candidate that does not meet this criteria to win.
"The church is to support the government, government cannot support the church. Anyone that will toy with the church of Jesus will never be a President of Nigeria. Even if you vote, the person will never sit there, whoever would sit there will be a person who fears and has respect for the church of Jesus. This is the last time we will give that chance, it will never happen again".
