The Director General, Labour Party (LP) Presidential Campaign Council, Akin Osuntokun has disclosed that they could easily see what the Kings are trying to do by commencing a traditional ritual (Oro) in Lagos State.
Akin Osuntokun said this while speaking in an interview with Arise TV. Akin Osuntokun said that the timing of the traditional ritual (Oro) fits perfectly with the gubernatorial election that will be held on the 18th of March 2023.
He said, "Some Kings have started saying that they want to commence a traditional ritual called Oro for three to four days. They said people should not come out for certain hours. The timing, of course, fits perfectly with the election period and of course, we could easily see what they are trying to do with that kind of suggestion. So, this is the extent to which people have gone to introduce the potential violence in Lagos State".
