She was not in her right senses before and when she met Jesus (part 1)

Throughout this teaching, we will consider the meeting of Jesus with the Samaritan woman as a case study because the Samaritan woman portrayed the life of some Christians today. Please read John 4: 7-29.

1. She was too religious.

Jesus was trying to reach out to her but still held on to the old teaching and believes.

There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water, Jesus saith unto her, give me to drink. (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat) then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, how is it that thou, being a Jew, asked drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? For the Jews have no dealing with the Samaritans. John 4: 7-9

Sometimes what we were told and believed with no personal spiritual confirmation might be an obstacle to our freedom and miracles. Consider the picture bellow.

How can someone tell his members that he is too holy to work on the ground, and so, members need to lie on the floor and he work on them. How on Earth can just believe that crap of a thing.

See another one.

How can someone tell you to eat grasses like goat to experience God's miracles. Do you think people who obey such are in their right senses? No and the reason is because they are so too religious to know the thing of the spirit. simple.

So also the Samaritan woman, she believed the teaching of the old like some of us still do today.

Relationship between Jews and Samaritans is forbidden: just like some of the churches do today. We have tribes and fashion in the house of God. By the grace of God I will be talking more on this later.

There is a limit of man to woman communication. I remember born again of those days. to them every other person is a sinner that is why they live in isolation. They never watch television nor listen to radio. They are mode of dressing is different. Please, is that really matters. Jesus who they preach interact, communicate with everyone. The woman of Samaritan also was blindfolded by such rules and so he was unable to see Jesus sitting so close to her.

I tried to do some assessment on some people who don't joke with church services, weekly or Sunday services. I approach some of the asking 'Why do you go to church?' don't you know I'm a Christian and I must go to church, some will reply, where should I go on Sunday again if not church, others said, I'm going to my creator to worship him. That sound interesting right.

May I tell you that the larger percent of people sitting in church today are not believers, they are just church goer. They only know Jesus base on what they were told about him just like the Samaritan woman. They did not believe Jesus can talk to them, they never have encounter with Jesus, they never experience the power of the holy spirit even though Jesus was standing close to them and reaching out to them but because their heart is far away from him they could not know their moment of great turnaround with Jesus.

That is why when something bad happened to them they keep saying. 'God and I serve you day and night, I never now down for other gods' it is possible you go to church every day, keep all the commandments but yet don't know Christ. That is the greatest obstacle in life.

He came into his own, and his own receive him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. John 1: 11&12
