Dr Daniel Olukoya, the General Overseer of Mountain Of Fire And Miracle Ministries spoke to his members on, "Connecting To Pentecostal Power" at their Wednesday Manna Water Service.
During his sermon, he read the book of Acts 1:8 (KJV) which says: "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth" after he had told the story of how A Believer Intervened After A Fetish Man Made A Conductor Naked Himself In Public.
He said. It was at Iddo market that a man entered a bus, and the bus was going to Ikorodu. On the way, the conductor insulted the man, and the man said, "Is it me you are talking to like that? When we get to Ikorodu, you shall see".
"And when they got there, the man quietly put his hand into his agbada, brought out a horn, and started incantations. He issued incantations and then told the conductor to remove his trousers. He removed his trousers. That is why if you say there are no powers of darkness, you are joking. He started again and asked the conductor to remove his shirt, which he did. Then he told the conductor to remove his singlet. He then went on to say that the conductor should remove his pants."
"Meanwhile, Lagos people as usual, had gathered to watch. Some were crying and pitying the conductor. But as the man was going to ask the boy to remove his pants, a believer in the bus intervened and said to him, "Daddy, please, even when we offend God, He forgives us. You are old enough to give birth to this boy. Please forgive him and let him go". The man got angry and turned to the believer and said "Who are you?". He put his hand back into his pocket, brought out the horn, and started incantations."
Then he turned to the believer and said, "Remove your coat." The believer smiled and said "In Jesus name, I will not remove my coat". When he heard "in Jesus name", he said "Ah, you troublemakers are here again". Then the believer turned to the conductor and said "In the name of Jesus, I command you: wear your trousers". The conductor did. He said the same for his singlet and shirt, and the conductor wore his clothes again.
Finally, he said, "The people there were glued because, in their presence, they saw two powers in display. One power was making a man mad, and one power was reversing it right there. While they were busy gazing at them, the believer began to preach the gospel. Everybody there, including the man with the charm, surrendered their lives to Jesus. The ending story of that man who was turning somebody mad is that he is now a pastor. That is because somebody connected to the pentecostal power.
