7 Ways On How To Repent In Islam For Drinking Alcohol

True repentance stems from a set of principles and beliefs that one sincerely believes in. If a person truly believes in Allah (swt) and the Day of Judgment and understands that he or she will see the results of his or her deeds on that day, and does not allow himself or herself to forget that reality, he or she will easily be able to avoid sin. It will be even easier if one properly pays attention and knows how haram activities cause one to drop too low levels and darken one's insides.

In Islam, drinking alcohol and other intoxicants is considered haram.

The Arabic term (kamr) means wine, which is an alcoholic beverage made from grapes. Alcohol is seen as haram or forbidden, and its consumption is regarded as impure, or najis. Alcohol drinking is expressly forbidden in the Quran (5:90 ). Consumption of even a little amount that does not create intoxication effects is prohibited.

Consumption of any amount of alcohol obtained from grapes, date palms, or raisins is likewise banned, according to Prophet Muhammed.

Here are the ways for putting alcohol aside:

1. The first step is to make a firm decision to do so, one that will not be weakened by anything.

2. Consider altering your mind about going out with folks who might persuade you to commit this conduct.

3. If you have to make particular preparations before you may drink, such as locating a place where no one can see you, try to avoid them.

4. Consider how destructive alcohol may be to one's body.

5. Religious and reputable doctors can assist you in resolving this issue.

6. Stop drinking alcohol: If you truly want to repent, you must refrain from engaging in sinful activities that Allah forbids. Don't drink again once you've stopped drinking. Allah would accept your sincere repentance.

7. Fear to Allah Almighty: Only Allah Almighty can keep you safe from all perils. Allah's protection is, without a doubt, the most powerful of all fortifications and armor. It is impenetrable to danger. As a result, if you repent, speak a word of kindness to Allah.

Allah will forgive Allah's servant's sins, inshallah.
