During a Special Online Sunday Service of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E. A. Adeboye shared a message with his congregation titled "For Whom The Heavens Open (Part 13)." The pastor drew from the biblical story of Jesus and Peter in Luke 5:1-11 to encourage his members.
He explained that when Jesus entered Peter's boat, the fisherman's fruitless toil ended, and he experienced a breakthrough beyond his own capacity. Peter had been labouring all night without success until Jesus came in and changed his fortunes.
In addition to the message from the biblical story, the pastor shared some messages he claimed to have received from the Lord while praying for the month of May 2023. According to the pastor, the Lord told him that May would be a month of fruitfulness for his congregation. He revealed that God said their labour would be fruitful, their businesses would no longer be stagnant, and their marriages would be fruitful. He encouraged his members to believe in these messages and expect breakthroughs in their lives during the month of May.
Hear him: "What is the Lord telling someone from that miraculous story? He said this will be the order for the month of May. As I was praying for the new month, he said your labour shall be fruitful. Your businesses shall no longer be stagnated. Your marriage shall be fruitful. May is a month of fruitfulness for you and your household".
