Daddy Freeze is popularly known for his controversial posts on social media. Besides, Daddy Freeze reacted to what a popular Nigerian pastor said about naming ceremony and church offering. The Nigerian pastor Olumide Emmanuel said that a church who spent N800,000 on a naming ceremony should not put N500 inside an envelope for the pastor and wonder why the child "waywards".
However, Daddy Freeze asked the pastor to show him a place in the scripture where Christ officiated naming ceremony. Daddy Freeze said that someone who puts N500 inside an envelope tries because there is no relationship between the church and naming ceremony.
Daddy Freeze said: "Dear pastor, please show me any single scripture where Christ who was our first pastor officiated naming ieremonies. In biblical times, naming a child was a traditional affair and it was not the business of the church".
