Sodom And Gomorrah Wasn't Destroyed Because Of Sin - Pastor Abel Damina

If you are a Bible scholar or a fervent attendee of the Sunday schools, you must have heard about the story of Sodom and Gomorrah. Well, for the sake of clarity, Sodom and Gomorrah was a town that was destroyed by God using Sulfur and fire according to the book of Genesis 19:24.

The book of Genesis, Jude, and Ezekiel all made mention that Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed by God because of the sin that was an order of the day in the land. A lot of Bible scholars also gave credence that Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed because of unnatural lust, abominable things, and lack of hospitality respectively.

However, in a recent video that was posted on YouTube, Pastor. Dr. Abel Damina, the founder and senior pastor of Abel Damina Ministries has countered all of these assertions. According to the Man of God, Sodom and Gomorrah wasn't destroyed because of sin but it was because of another thing.

According to the Pastor, Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed by God because the people who lived in that part of the world rejected the gospel that was preached to them for many years. That gospel was the gospel of having faith in God's son and that is Jesus Christ. The Pastor also made mention that the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah is just a figurative expression of what will happen to those who rejected the gospel of Christ on the day of Judgement.
