Why You Will Still Bear The Consequences Of Your Sin After Repentance - Dr. Olukoya Reveals

Many people believe that repentance will take away the sin and its consequences. On this, the General Overseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministry, Dr. D.K. Olukoya, has revealed why people will still bear the consequences of their sins after repentance.

In a video on his verified Facebook page, the man of God said that holiness is the total submission of the body to God and that it is essential. Olukoya said, "God will always forgive sinners who come to him. You will still bear the consequences of sin after repentance because forgiveness of sin doesn't remove the consequences of sin. Sin will sometimes leave a scar that forgiveness cannot erase." A woman who has damaged her womb because of frequent abortions will receive forgiveness from God if she repents, but her repentance won't erase the consequences of her action. Olukoya also said that the consequences of sin can be more grievous than sin itself. He said, "Sin will never pay well." Olukoya made allusion to Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
