Proverbs 21 : 23 says, " Whoever guards his mouth and tongue keep his soul from troubles."

Many occasions, to remain silent will do you a lot of good, therefore, read the following Bible verses on when you should keep silent :

1. Proverbs 14 verse 17 : Be silent in the heat of anger and annoyance.

2. Deuteronomy 17 verse 6 : Be silent when you have not verified or investigated an issue or a story.
