I couldn't stop laughing at Bisi's remark when I told her I still slept with my girlfriend last night, she's so down to earth that you may mistake her for some street girl.
For an introduction, Bisi is my spiritual mother that preached the gospel to me and I got converted that same day.
'Body no be firewood abi' she asked laughing when I opened up to her.
She has a way of not making people feel guilty when they fall into sin.
Actually, we have plans to get married soon. Everyone is aware of our relationship. Besides, we no longer have anything to hide between us, I said in defense.
Bisi suddenly switched over, the expression on her face shows that she's ready to drop the bomb on me.
I'll be frank with you Paul said Bisi in an authoritative manner. Any Christian who does any of the things I'm about to tell you is not a real Christian.
I readjusted my seating position to her the truth I am willing to hear from her.
First, any guy or lady that's involved in premarital sex is not ready to be a Christian. Sex is for married alone.
When you're in a relationship, you're not allowed to have a side chick or be involved in extramarital affairs for the married.
There are some shows you should not watch too. Shows like the 'Big brother' should be a no for Christians. I know this is a difficult thing for youths.
But I want you to ask yourself this question, in what way is the show glorifying God?
None I replied. You see my point Paul she said.
Because people are validating an act doesn't mean it is right. As a Christian, always seek God's validation about things before you jump on it.
Now go and meditate on 2 Corinthians 6:14 which reads: Don't be Unequally yoke together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?
What's your take on this, is Bisi right or not. Share your thoughts in the comments. Thank you.
