A Winner Chapels pastor has come to social media to show the sack letter presented to him by the Church. Bishop Oyedepo founded Winners Chapel. Bishop Oyedepo is the richest pastor in Africa. A Pastor with the Living Faith Church International aka Winners Chapel, Peter Godwin, has alleged he and 40 other pastors in Ekiti State were sacked by the church for not generating enough income.
The pastor stated that they were sacked because they didn't perform well. Nigerians reacted to the sacking of those pastors. Reno Omokri has reacted to the letter. He justified the judgement passed on them by the church. Reno Omokri is a pastor. He is a wise man. Reno Omokri said he read the letter and it did not mention anything about money.
Reno Omokri is a former aide to the former president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. RENO Omokri said the church used “church growth”.
Reno Omokri said Jesus Christ wants us to engage in evangelism. He quoted evangelism-Matthew 28:18-20. Reno Omokri said any pastor that fails at that core duty should be sacked. Christ told us to do that in Matthew 25:14-29.
Reno Omokri said the pastor who went to the press after releasing a live video is undermining the faith of believers.
In John 15:16, Christ said “I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit.” Reno said what is the consequence of not bearing fruit?. Christ answered that question in John 15:2 “Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away”.
Reno Justified Oyedepo for taking that order. Reno Omokri said the Winners Chapel is in order.
What do you think? Do you think Reno Omokri is right?
Winners Chapel has done the right thing
