Good Reasons Why woman Needs To Be Prayerful

In Luke 7, Jesus had seen a massive funeral procession in Nain. The entire town was there. He saw young men and women crying. He saw the shepherds and apostles weeping. He watched the elders weep. He saw the fathers crying. He heard the children cry. He was seeing the sorrow on people's faces.

And nothing seems to move Him until He saw the MOTHER. The Bible says that He had compassion when He saw her and immediately raised her boy from the dead. (cf. Luke 7:12-15). It was the cry of a mother who moved the heart of God.

Still today, the Mothers who cry to the Lord for their families, for their marriages, for their homes, move the Heart of God. When Mothers stop praying, their families (especially their children) will perish. Satan gets a hold and starts to ruin the home, but when they return to their rightful position as the cornerstone of the world, the demonic strongholds are destroyed.

Psalms 17, 36, 57, 63, and 91 compare the position of God to that of the Mother. As Mother preserves, sustains and protects her children, does too God protect us under the shadow of His Wings. We take shelter there, and we can hide there until the danger is over. The role of a mother is so vital that a father can not have his prayers answered if he dishonors / disrespects her (1 Peter 3:7).

However, for the sake of mothers, they are perhaps the most assaulted people in the family. The devil is afraid of the daughters. Yet the Lord has placed grace and resilience within Mothers to overcome any situation.

Today, as a woman at home, count yourself blessed. Consider yourself to be highly privileged and consider yourself to be dangerous when you pray.

I plead a nall mothers to pass this on to the mothers you meet and help them and continue caring for their families.
