Biblical Explanation Of Matthew 6:10 That You Need To Know

God desires his children to pray for his kingdom, and this is because the kingdom of God is in power, righteousness, peace, and joy of the Holy Ghost (1Corinthians 4:20, Romans 14:17), and since God is a King (Psalm 5:2) and upholds all things by the word of his power (Hebrews 1:3), and has made his children as kings and priests unto himself (Revelation 1:6), he (God) wants them to ask for his kingdom so that they can uphold all things by the word of God that is backed with power because power is present wherever the word of a king is given (Ecclesiastes 8:4), and Matthew 6:10 gives a deeper meaning about it, and I want you to read the entire article as I share the deeper meaning of the scripture in details.

Here is the Biblical explanation of Matthew 6:10.

" Thy kingdom comes, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven."

According to the Bible passage given above, " Thy kingdom come," this means that the kingdom of God which is in power, peace, righteousness, and joy of the Holy Ghost should come. In other words, you should pray for God's kingdom to come into your life so that you can practice righteousness, follow peace with all men, have the joy of the Holy Ghost always in you, and also demonstrate and operate the power of God to do exploits.

" Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." this second part of the above Bible passage means that God's will should be done on earth the same way it is being done in heaven, and this is why God commands in Romans 8:2 that you should not conform to this world but that you should transform by renewing your mind so that you will be able to prove God's will that is perfect, good, and acceptable, and in other to be able to do the will of God after knowing it, Matthew 16:19 reveals that God has given his children the keys of the kingdom of heaven so that whatever they bind or loose on earth will also be bound or loosed in heaven, and knowing the will of God will help you to know what you should bound or loosed on earth which is also bound or loosed in heaven. Since God's will is for his children to practice righteousness, follow peace or make peace with all men, operate and demonstrate his power, and as well be filled with the joy of the Holy Ghost, the keys of the kingdom of heaven which are God's power will help you to bind and loose so that God's can be done on earth.
