The Islamic cleric, Sheikh Gumi who accused non-muslim soldiers of attacking Muslims to trigger chaos has dropped another controversial statement.
Sheikh Gumi in a public interview with Seun Okinbaloye who is a Channels Television's Political Correspondent revealed that the Fulani herdsmen do not kill and he added that if they do it must be accidental due to the fact that some of them are on drugs.
The Islamic cleric, defending his claim when talking to the investigative journalist said the Fulani herdsmen simply wants money and will only kill intentionally as a result of retaliation or revenge.
The now termed Peace Negotiator and Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi explaining his statement said the Fulani herdsmen will act violent as a mode of defence.
Sheikh still on the issue of the Fulani's killing said their violent actions against villages is as a result of ethnic revenge.
