2 Reasons Why We May Never Have Pastors Like Idahosa, Babalola, TB Joshua, And Others Again

The likes of Benson Idahosa, Ayo Babalola, T.B. Joshua were men greatly used by God who has since gone on to be with the Lord. Why many have often lamented their absence in Christendom, we would never have their kinds again.

Exactly two months ago, Popular televangelist T.B. Joshua joined the list of clerics who were fathers of faith that have gone on to be with the Lord.

Most of these fathers of faith never lived above the age of 60. Although they never lived to a very ripe age, the impacts of their ministry were proof that their assignments on earth had been completed.

In this article, I would be discussing two reasons why we will not have their kinds in the gospel again.

1. The role of purpose

Every person created on the earth has a unique God-given purpose. No two individuals are the same, even identical twins. The same applies to pastoral ministry, no two pastors are the same.

Isaiah 51:2 says "Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah, that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him." Abraham was called alone as a prophet of God, so is every pastor called. That's one of the reasons we would never have their kind again.

2. Every Minister of God has a unique grace

This is true according to 1st Corinthians 12:4-7, every minister has different graces given to them by God. This grace is responsible for their unique contributions to the body of Christ.

Although Elisha was mentored by Prophet Elijah, he was very different in operation as a prophet in comparison to Elijah. Elisha was known to work in the gift of 'Word of Knowledge' greatly, unlike Elijah. The same also applied to Eli the high priest and prophet Samuel.
