2 Things prayers cannot do

As you serve God on a daily basis, it is important for you to know how He operates so that you don't end up expecting what shouldn't be expected of Him. In our daily lives, we pray. We pray to God for several reasons. Sometimes we pray an unnecessary prayer thinking it is necessary.

I want you to know this; it is not everything we should pray for because it is not everything prayers can do. God programmed prayers in such a way that it has limits in terms of applications. This is why I want to bring to you 2 things prayers can not do. What this means is that you don't need to waste your time praying in those directions. Here we go.

1. Prayer cannot keep you from trials.

Sometimes you might be praying to God seriously to keep you away from trials and tribulations because you don't want to witness them. But you have forgotten that as a Christian, trials, and tribulations are used by God to determine your level of faith?. Instead of praying not to witness it, pray that God should give you the power to triumph like Job.

Difficulties serve as a source of growth, let us read from James 1:2-4 “My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing”.

2. Prayers can not stop death.

Have you been praying to God that He should never let you die? It means you are wasting your time because that prayer won't work. Instead of praying that you should not die, pray for long life. Ask God to add to your years because death is inevitable. No matter how strong you are as a man of God, you must die one day.

Death is an appointment designed by God. Let us read from the book of Hebrew 9:27 Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment.

Have you ever seen or heard where prayers did any of these? Please share.
