2 Things About 'Rapture' Which Most Christians Don’t Know About

There are 2 things about rapture which most people, even Christians, don’t know about. These 2 things are just facts that talk about how the people in Christ would be caught up with him on the last day. If you happen to know this, then, this article would not serve as an informative source, rather, it would serve as a reminder of the important fact which is; Jesus is coming soon. Without further ado, the 2 things are:

1. The Dead in Christ Shall Rise First:

In the book of 1st Thessalonians chapter 4 verses 16, the bible says that; “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first”. From this passage, we can see that on the day of rapture, it is the dead in Christ who will rise first. The dead in Christ are those people who lived all their lives in the ways of the LORD even till their death. These are the people who the bible has said would rise first on the day of rapture.

2. The Living In Christ Shall Go Second:

In the Book of 1st Thessalonians Chapter 4 verses 17, the bible says that; “Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air, and shall we ever be with the Lord”. From this bible passage, we have seen that the next category of people to go are the ones who are alive in Christ. Those who are alive in Christ are the ones who continually do his will on earth, but never died before he came. They are the ones who would see, and experience the signs of the end time, just like the bible says. However, since they decided to stay with the Lord, they would also be caught up in the clouds on the last day, just like this passage has said.
