The Vicar of the Roman Catholic Church, Pope Francis has said in an interview that the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan was not examined totally. According to the Supreme pontiff, he said that the United States failed to see the possible outcome of their action when made. He said the US did not consider the things that might follow after their decision was enacted.
When the Pope was asked if the Vatican city can make use of it's diplomatic power by stopping the Afghanistan government from making any retalliation against it's citizens, the Pope said yes and they have already started doing it. The Pope asked Christians all over the world to fast and pray for the current situation in Afghanistan. The Pope further thanked those who have tried and are trying to offer help to the Vatican one way or the other and dedicated the deceased to the mercy of God Almighty.
