On Friday, March 3, 2023, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Governor of Lagos State Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, and Governor of Ogun State Dapo Abiodun all worshiped together at Redemption Camp, the location of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the church's general overseer, celebrated his 81st birthday at the ceremony.
Osinbajo, Sanwo-Olu, and Abiodun were spotted in public with Pastor Adeboye in the photos that went viral.
The announcement comes after the recent presidential election, in which All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was declared the winner.
Even in his native state of Lagos, Tinubu was defeated by Peter Obi of the Labour Party. This has caused great concern among members of the APC in the state in the run-up to the gubernatorial election on March 11, 2023.
Yet, there has been a lot of chatter online about Governor Sanwo-presence, Olu's with some users drawing connections to the approaching gubernatorial race.
