Why Buddhism is the best religion in the world (opinion)

Buddhism is one of the world's oldest practised and fourth-largest religion with over 520 million followers, or over 7% of the global population, known as Buddhists. It is based on the teachings of Siddhattha Gotama, who after fasting from worldly possessions and meditating, popularly became the first person to fully grasp the mechanism of life, the need of moderation to find true happiness and the mechanism behind rebirth. In the process, he attained ultimate spiritual enlightenment which became the goal of his followers and thus earned the title "Buddha" which translates to the awakened or enlightened one. Bhuddism encourages healthy life practices like meditating, healthy living, being kind to everyone, appreciating nature and seeking peace with the world and everyone around you. Bhuddist practices have been adopted for therapy management and treatment of things like depression, anger management and anxiety.

By virtue of the fact that there isn't any fixed believe of a God for Bhuddists, you can easily be a Christian while practicing Bhuddism at the same time. As a matter of fact, some religious teachers have theorized in the past that patterns exhibited by Jesus as told in the Bible, from praying and meditating in quiet places, treating everyone equally in kindness, fasting from the world and earthly possesions, seeking and sharing wisdom were perfectly identical to what Bhudda famously taught to be the righteous path as well.

This flexibility has indeed proven convenient for a lot of enthusiasts who were skeptic about what stance Bhuddist practices places them on in terms of previous faith.

You can learn more about them by watching explanatory videos on it's history and practices on YouTube. Meanwhile kindly share your thoughts below.
