All You Need To Know About The World's Oldest And Most Complete Bible [PHOTOS]

The Ethiopian Bible, also known as the Garima Gospel, is considered as the oldest, most detailed and complete bible on earth. This Bible is written in Ge’ez, an ancient Semitic language of Ethiopia.

According to findings, the Ethiopian Bible is about 800 years older than the King James Version (KJV) and it comprises over one hundred (100) books compared to sixty-six (66) of the Protestant Bible.

The Ethiopian Bible incorporates the Books of Enoch, Buruch, Esdras, all three (3) Books of Meqabyan (Maccabees), and several other books that were excommunicated from the King James Version, KJV.

Books of the Ethiopian Bible as it is commonly referred to as — features about twenty (20) of these books that are expressly excluded in the Protestant Bible.

This Bible is the world’s first illustrated Christian Bible and it was reportedly discovered at a remote Ethiopian monastery. Its colours are still vivid all thanks to the Ethiopian Heritage Fund who have maintained it.
