Dr. Pastor Paul Enenche, the founder and senior pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Center spoke on what happened after he stood on an altar and his anointing almost dried up as he spoke on "ANOINTED FOR DOMINION" at 2023 Destiny Recovery Convention || Glory Dome, Abuja.
He said, "I went somewhere to preach one day. I'll tell you a real story. My challenge started when I didn't see the line up on the handbill - I came and saw different kinds of people on the billboard and I said, 'What'? So when I stepped on the altar, the place was as dry as steel. No oil, no unction, no presence, nothing!
"I said, Lord what is happening? You know what he answered me? "Who sent you here?" What? So I sent myself here; I'm sorry Sir. Please mercy; just give me small mercy. I tried to worship, tried this and that, within a few minutes in his mercy, the climate changed. I ministered as sharp as I could, gave an altar call, prayed for this as sharp as I could and I round about turned. I went back to the hotel and I went on my knees, "Lord I am sorry. I won't do it again." That was how we ran away in the morning. I think there was a morning session but we didn't have the time to go. "Are you coming for the next one?" "Oh no, please." We ran away. They said, "em so please remember us by this time next year." I said I'm not sure. Before that time next year, invitation letter came for the same place. I said, me? I craze? You pass through the same thing twice? No."
Finally, he said, "I don't go anywhere anyhow. That is, as sensitive as I thought I was, I stepped to a place where God said, "who sent you?" If you don't hear God you won't hear it. You're just there. You struggle struggle, the little unction you carry, you dropped it there; It just suction you. You return back to the altar where you are, you are just struggling with your base and wondering whether they have sent new devils after your destiny. That will never be your portion!
