According to certain traditions, Eid festivals were initiated from Medina after the migration of Prophet Muhammad from Mecca to Madina.

The Eid-al-Fitr is a religious celebration by Muslims all over the world to mark the end of the month-long Ramadan fast.

It is a time for celebration, religious events, preparing a feast for family and friends and dressing up in the finest clothes and beautiful jewellery.

It is no secret that Nigerians are very fashionable especially during the Eid Celebration. It is forbidden to fast on the Day of Eid, and as specific prayer is nominated for this day. As an obligatory act of charity, money is paid to the poor and the needy before performing the Eid prayer.

Nevertheless, A lot of rich people Especially traditional rulers and Politicians in Nigeria left their places of work to celebrate this occasion with their families.

Despite Emir Sanusi's Absence, his beautiful wives and children celebrated Eid with so much joy and Happiness at their Residence in kano State.

Emir Sanusi Lamido joined the Emir of Zazzau, Nuhu Abdullahi Bamalli and the Governor of kaduna State, Nasir Ahmad El-Rufa'i for Eid prayer in Zaria, Kaduna State.
