5 Biblical Verses You Should Read To Overcome Poverty

The Lord is the great provider and He is ready to provide for all your needs. It is not the plan of God that you remain in your poverty and it is your duty to take the right step of faith. Here are 5 Biblical verses you should read to overcome poverty:

1. Psalm 113:7-8

"He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill"

This is an assurance that God is ready to visit up from your state of poverty. Whenever you pray, you just need to assure yourself that He is going to lift you from your difficult state.

2. Psalm 70: 12

"For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper"

All you need to do here now is to cry to the Lord and let him know your poor state. Let Him know that you cannot help yourself and that you are depending on Him to help you. He's always willing to as long as you're ready to ask.

3. Psalm 69:33

"The Lord heareth the poor and despise the not his prisoners"

This simply explains that whenever you cry to Him, He is going to hear you. One major problem you might have is that you cry to man instead of God. Spend more time praying to God and spend less time crying to men.

4. Psalm 9:9

"The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble"

You should not let the riches of others oppress you because you are the child of the Highest God. Put your utmost trust in God and He will not disappoint you.

5. Philippians 4:19

"And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus"

This is an assurance that God will supply all your needs as long as You live right with him. Make your way right with God; make your request known unto him and he will supply your needs.

In conclusion, the Lord is ready to do great things in your life and all you need to do is to believe in his ability. Trust in him and have faith in him, then you will see the wonders of God in your life.
