JAMB Releases Result For 2021

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), has announced the release of the result for the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

In a statement by its Head of Media, Fabian Benjamin, reveals that results for subsequent days will now be released daily.

Candidates who partook in the 2021 UTME are by this announcement, advised to go check their result in the JAMB portal.

Imams Warn Against Provocative Preaching In Mosques

According to Daily Post, the Committee of the Federal Capital Territory, Imams Initiatives (CFTII), has warned Imams against provocative preaching in the mosques.

In a communique issued by the CFTII, Islamic Clerics are cautioned to avoid preaching anything that will be inimical to the peaceful coexistence in the country.

Adding that mosque podiums will not be used to create division, confusion, promoting partisanship and raining abuses.

Baba Ijesha Granted N2 Million Bail

The Lagos State Offences Court on Thurday, granted Olanrewaju Omiyinka, also known as Baba Ijesha, N2 million Naira bail.

Recall that Baba Ijesha was arraigned before to court on six count charges bordering on rape, abuse and sexual assault of a minor.

Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo granted the bail after Baba Ijesha pleaded not guilty.
